Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days after purchase.
- At the moment, I only ship original paintings within Germany.
Unfortunately, I’m currently unable to ship original paintings to other EU countries (other than Germany). Shipping within the EU requires compliance with country-specific packaging regulations, including registrations, administrative requirements, and additional fees. As a small independent artist, these requirements are currently too costly and time-consuming for me to manage. Thank you for understanding!
-> I’d love to offer international shipping in the future! For now, I’m focusing on shipping within Germany while I work through the logistics and research the best shipping options for international customers.
Please refer to my Right of Withdrawal page for info about returns within the EU.
If your order has not arrived 30 days after the purchase please contact me per email & if your order was damaged in the mail, please attach a photo of the product to the email*.
If your refund was approved, you will receive your money back to your original method of payment within 14 workdays. At this time, I cannot offer you a replacement of the product.
*Customised products (family portraits) are exempt from being refunded at all.
The paintings come packaged in flat mailers made of cardboard, thin cardboard (for more stability) and recyclable plastic sleeves (to protect the painting during shipping).
I use recyclable packaging materials whenever possible and my packaging is registered with a licensed recycling scheme in Germany (Grüner Punkt).
All original paintings are sent with tracked shipping.
Please note that you will be responsible for import duties and taxes. Custom duties vary from country to country so make sure to get all the info you may need before ordering.
Currently I am only accepting PayPal as method of payment!
If you want me to illustrate a custom family portrait for you – you can either write me an email and request more info or purchase the listing via my online shop. You can find a lot of family portrait examples in my portfolio!
- Q: Will you send me a print of the portrait? A: I don’t offer any physical prints, you will have to get it printed yourself.
- Q: The birthday/wedding/etc is in two weeks – would you be able to deliver so fast? A: Please contact me beforehand per email if you need a rushed portrait – I’ll let you know if I have the capacity and also tell you how much the rush-fee would be!
- Q: Does everything have to be in one photo? A: No, you can send me various photos and I will put everything together – it would be nice to have a couple of photos in different poses especially for the pets so I can draw the fur as best as possible!
- Q: What counts as characters when ordering the portrait? A: Humans and pets (such as cats and dogs and other larger animals) both count as characters.
- Q: What kind of formats do you offer? A: You can either go for a Din format (A4, A3 or A2 (I would advise getting it printed in A4 or A3) – A2 is the largest Din format I can offer) or an inch format (9×12, 11×17, 12×16, 16×20, 18×24 – I can’t set up a canvas larger than 18×24 inches).
- Q: I don’t know which format I should choose – what do you suggest? A: I suggest looking up the different formats online (google: standard poster size) and think about the space you want to hang your portrait and/or the frame you want to buy or already have.
- Q: Will you share the photos I send you? A: No, I will not share them anywhere online – I will only use them to draw the custom portrait.
- Q: Is it possible to get a discount when ordering more than one custom portrait? A: Yes, please email me beforehand and let me know how many portraits you would order and I’ll set up a discount code for you.
For any questions about a commission idea just write me an email and explain your idea as thoroughly as possible. I will answer you within 7 working days if I’m free to work on it & tell you more details about the process.
How to download: After your payment has come through you will be redirected to my website and there should be a list of all the items you ordered – you can click on the product title to download it to your computer/phone. There will also be a confirmation email after I mark your order as complete (please allow me up to three days for that) where you can download your items too.
Physical & digital items in one order: You will also get to the confirmation landing page after your payment where you will be able to download the digital products by clicking on the product title links as well as receiving the confirmation email after I send your order with all the links again.
I can’t find the download email: In some cases the download email ends up in the junk folder of your email program – so please check that before you contact me – if you still can’t find it write me an email and I’ll send you your digital products!
-> Digital items are for private use only! Do not reproduce, distribute or make publicly accessible.
-> All family portraits will be sent out per email after they are completed!
