A map commission I made for a lovely customer last week. He wanted me to draw him a map for Castle Rocks (where some of Stephen King’s books take place). I had a lot of fun drawing it & if you know someone who’d like a custom made map – write me an email PuTTY , I’d love to draw one for you.
Here’s how the commission process would look like:
Here are the first seven tarot cards that I’m making for inktober. The theme I chose is: Weird & Wonderful. The cards are all about strange people and lovely creatures which may seem scary at first but really aren’t that much different from you and I.
Hello friend, long time no blog post. A lot of art happened in between, so I thought – why not collect most of it here. This post is filled with: Autumn art, a lot of witches, a pattern in different colours, two printables you can download on my patreon and a hogwarts student card. Scroll down & enjoy.
And I also drew a new banner for this website!
I hope that you are doing well puttygen download , I’m very glad that you found your way to this page 🙂
These are some of my more recent book cover sketches. I really enjoyed making them, searching for little stuff from the stories to include on the covers. (If someone from Book Publishing is reading this, maybe you could consider me for some book cover jobs? I would really enjoy designing a classical book set.)
Find out how I plan an illustration from start to finish. First I decide what I want to draw and look up inspiration in the big wide web. Then I figure out the shapes and where I want to put things. Then I write a list of things I want to have in the picture, a garden gnome, a painter, pots, pans, toaster, marmalade, a pig lamp, amelie, photos … After that I look up references for those things (here all from the film ‘Amélie’). Then comes the messy line art and when I’m pleased with the outcome puttygen ssh , I go over it with cleaner lines. Last but not least I colour it in 🙂
