January Mixtape

It’s mixtape time folks. Here are my most listened songs from January. Always feel free to leave song recommendations in the comments here or over on Instagram, I’ll listen to them!

All the mixtapes from 2019

A collection of all the 2019 mixtapes (I think I didn’t make one for August though). Funny how you can see my style change a lot throughout the year. Click on each image to get to the mixtape.

Castle Rocks Map – Commission

A map commission I made for a lovely customer last week. He wanted me to draw him a map for Castle Rocks (where some of Stephen King’s books take place). I had a lot of fun drawing it & if you know someone who’d like a custom made map – write me an email, I’d love to draw one for you.

Here’s how the commission process would look like:

Tarot Cards (8-15)

Here I collected the tarot cards 8 to 15, all from my inktober challenge.

The Hanged Man: Peace through self-discipline, freedom from distraction

Death: cycle of creation, destruction & renewal

The Devil: temptation, attachment, control

The Star: hope, healing

The Moon: subtlety, mystery, instinct

The Hierophant: tradition, spiritual authority, deception

The Sun: clarity, simplicity, new life

The Tower: a revelation, drastic shift in perspective

Tarot Cards – Inktober

Here are the first seven tarot cards that I’m making for inktober. The theme I chose is: Weird & Wonderful. The cards are all about strange people and lovely creatures which may seem scary at first but really aren’t that much different from you and I.

Here’s the list for all the cards:

The Fool: Freedom, Fearlessness

The Magician: Skill, Transformation

The High Priestess: Juggling, Multitasking

The Empress: Fertility, Responsibility to nature

The Lovers: Love, Beauty, Union

The Chariot: A Triumph, A Breakthrough, An inventive solution

The Hermit: Sacrifice without regret, Self-care

A Collection of Recent Art (no3)

Hello friend, long time no blog post. A lot of art happened in between, so I thought – why not collect most of it here. This post is filled with: Autumn art, a lot of witches, a pattern in different colours, two printables you can download on my patreon and a hogwarts student card. Scroll down & enjoy.

bag-o nga arte II

The last of the illustrations from the challenge I had with some friends plus some art I recently drew as well.

Magical Girl
Circus
Ghibli
Villain
Neonlights
Citytrip

and now to some other art I made in the last weeks:

From sketch to finished illustration

Find out how I plan an illustration from start to finish. First I decide what I want to draw and look up inspiration in the big wide web. Then I figure out the shapes and where I want to put things. Then I write a list of things I want to have in the picture, a garden gnome, a painter, pots, pans, toaster, marmalade, a pig lamp, amelie, photos … After that I look up references for those things (here all from the film ‘Am├ęlie’). Then comes the messy line art and when I’m pleased with the outcome, I go over it with cleaner lines. Last but not least I colour it in čÖé
