I made some maps over the last weeks, one for my favourite game of this year so far & three places I want to visit someday.
Hello my friends, I thought I would show you what I’ve been eating/drinking every morning for the last month or so. Normally without the banana when I don’t have as much time as on free days.
The second month of the year is already over. My days are packed with watching organisation videos on youtube and sketching. Full to the brim with yoga (30 days with Adriene), getting up early, trying to read as many books as I can and enjoying the early warmth of spring. The minute the sun isn’t there, I can see unhappy-me coming back but I want this year to be different from last. And I quit smoking and eat less sugar. I think I’m getting back to being a bit more myself again. I didn’t really tell you, but last year was kinda bad. Anyway, enjoy my mixtape. I don’t want to shout out too much about myself into this empty void, I bet only people I know will read this (yes I mean you, I’m internally blushing right now).
Hello friends, in case you didn’t already see it, you can now watch my two studio vlogs on my instagram! Just click on the images to be taken to them. I would have uploaded them on here but the exceeded the maximum upload size 🙂 I had a lot of fun making them and I hope you like them as much as I do.
Here are the two last map illustrations I did over the last weeks. You can already buy the Austenlandmap in my Etsy Shop. Find the Link to the shop in the Sidebar on the right.
Some very nice things I enjoyed watching/listening to. Always obsessing about some Living-off-grid videos, I am actually planning on spending a night in a tiny house this year. And Andrew Scott is just the cutest human being and he says some very interesting things in his interview. And I started the Welcome to Night Vale Podcast this week (why I didn’t do this earlier, I have no idea. I once tried reading the book but I didn’t manage to finish it). The Podcast is the best thing that could happen to me seriously, it is very funny and beautiful and strange. And the weather section is filled with amazing music. I think I will have to make a map of Night Vale soon!

Hello, January has only got two more full days so I thought I would post the mixtape for it now. I had a lot of fun downloading some photos for collages from the Rookie Mag website (search for their collage kits) and putting some together. I hope you had a good first month of the year too & are enjoying whatever music you’re currently listening to.
I made some art over the last week. A Pride & Prejudice map for all the fellow Jane Austen fans. And I remade some old art prints, so the quality of them is so. much. better.
My mixtape for the month of December. I really only listend to four Bands this month: The Vaccines, Queen, MGMT and the new album from AnnenMayKantereit.
Hello dear someone, who reads these blog posts (wondering if anybody reads them at all). Last year (or you could say last month) I bought myself an iPad Pro. I debated really long with myself if I should get it or not, but you already know the outcome, so… Then there were the holidays and I spent them at my parents house and had a lot of time on my hand. I used this time to play around with the different brushes and stuff you could do on Procreate and I would like to show you what came out of it (if you haven’t already seen it on my Instagram).
And today I made some new banners and a logo for my etsy and this website you are currently reading.
